Colt pulled through the entrance of Crooked Path, his truck and rig rattled a little bit as he passed over the cattle gaurd. He made his way down the dirt driveway, kicking up dust in his black dodge - sundowner trailer tagged behind with his new mare in tow.
He came to the barn and backed the trailer to the breeze way and killed the engine on his truck. He hopped out and slammed the door and walked to the end of his trailer. Once he was to the end, he swung the door open and stepped in, unhooking the slant door and untying Cheyenne and looped the lead rope around her neck, just as he did when he loaded her.
Welcome home, girl.

Beaches of Cheyenne rocked side to side in teh trailer. She snorted and felt the bumps from the cattle gaurd below her feet. She wasn't to happy about that and pinned her ears back. She pawed at the trailer flooring. She was didn't like the bumpy ride at all. As the trailer came to a stop she was ready to come out. She Colt opened the trailer door open and walk in and unlock the slant and walk toward her to untie her. Well before colt could tie her up she began to walk backwards. She wasn't used to being tied up in the trailer and well she was already wanting to get out. She felt the lead pull so she quit and waited for his to untie her. Once he put the rope around her neck she backed out of the trailer as fast as she could.
Cheyenne stood outside of the trailer. She looked around at the new place. It was very pretty lookin place, but wasn't like her old home. She would have to deal with it though. She never felt Colt grab the lead and well she was kinda hungry and there was a piece of grass calling her name. She began to walk forward and put her head toward the ground and began to graze along the trailer.

Colt came off the trailer quick when Cheyenne walked off.. He looked around and saw her eating some grass, he shut the door and walked over to her. He unlooped her lead and held it as she grazed. Once she grabbed a mouthful, he tugged her to the direction of her stall - next to Indy, his palomino mare.

Beaches of Cheyenneheared Colt behind her, but she wasn't to worried about him and kept on eatting grass until she felt the lead rope pull of her. She took one last mouth full of the nice lush grass and followed colt to the barn. She snorted when she saw the barn. She stopped in her tracks when she got closer and began to smell the ground around her. It was a different smell than her old barn, but once she got the scent she walked right into the barn and followed colt into the stall where his mare Indy was at.

Colt stopped when Cheyenne did, but kept going as she kept stepping. He led her into the stall and took her halter off and shut the door as he walked out.
Indy nickered to the new mare as she pressed her muzzle to the bars that separated her from the other mare about halfway up the wall. She was curious, and the new mare was something new to discover. She paced back and forth.
Indy, calm down. Lord.
He shook his head as he walked off and headed for the feed room. Indy just ignored him and snorted with a quiet nicker.

Cheyenne nickered toward the other mare. She walked over to the mare and tried to fit her muzzle threw the bars, but they wouldn't fit. She snorted and tossed her head. Chey put her muzzle up to the bars agian and blew threw her rollers to take in some sent in from the mare. She squilled when she got scent of the mare and tossed her head up and swished her tail very hard to her side. She walked away from Indy and toward the water bucket and took a long drink. She snorted and began to smell around he stall to get in the scent of her new home.

Indy tossed her head around and whinnied. She pranced and found her way outside of her stall.. She moved to the paddock where the geldings were grazing, not knowing there was a new horse about.
Colt was watching and noticed that Cheyenne's stall door wasn't opened to the paddock. He made his way back into her stall and opened the door to the paddock. He counted his horses and made sure they were all in the little pasture. Indy dancing around his boys, Colt just shook his head in a nonsense fashion. She was so playful and the geldings would never pick back..

Cheyennesnorted and when colt opened the back door of her stall she waited for him to move before she ran out. Chey kicked up her heels and galloped toward the rest of the horses. She slid to a stop and looked at Indy and nickered toward her. She tossed up her head and then looked back at colt. Chey walked toward the gelding and reached out with her muzzle to smell them.

Indy whinnied to the new horse, like she was her new best friend. She frollicked along with the other mare. The geldings all became nosy and were catching scents and greeting. Colt watched incase anything happened..

Cheyenne stood still by the geldings so she could get their scents. She snorted and once she saw Indy start running she turned on heels and galloped toward Indy. Chey's heels started to kick up dirt when she galloped toward Indy. Chey loved to run around in the open, but when it was time to work, she would work. Chey came to a slidling stop when she reached the end of the fence and turned around on her hindlegs and galloped back toward the group. Chey ran back to Indy and the gelding and before she ran into them she jet to the side and slowed down to a trot while she trotted around the group. Chey stopped and dropped her head to the lush grass and began to graze.

Indy whinnied and followed behind her, it was refreshing to the little mare to have another to dance with. She bucked and came to a hault as she did and grazed beside her. She whinnied playfully as the others watched.
Colt laughed at the two frisky horses. They ran about the paddock and didn't stop til they came to graze. He shook his head and watched quietly, he was glad there was no problems. They would be a great match. He was glad he bought the mare after all, she fit in amazingly.

While Cheyenne was eatting, she was grazing closer to Indy. Once she got closer to Indy she began to swish her tail to make the flys stop bitting her rump and also swishing to help Indy with her fly problem. Chey was pretty much into eatting, but she lifted her head up and looked right at Colt. She wanted to eat, but something inside her told her to go up to him.
Cheyenne left Indy grazing while she trotted up to colt and reached out with her nuzzle. She reached up toward his face and began nuzzling up around him. She was a very loveable mare and was there to please everyone. She was a quick learner and that she was ready for whatever colt put her up to. She snorted and blowed snot all over his shirt. She pricked her ears and her eyes looked at him like " Im so GROUGOUS!" She looked over his shoulder at something, but couldn't tell what it was.

Colt watched as Cheyenne approached him, he rubbed her neck as she loved on him. She was almost like a big dog. He laughed until she sneezed on him.
Dammit, girl.
He said as he shook his shirt, trying to get rid of the snot and whatnot off of him. He couldn't help but be grossed out, but was the least bit aggravated. He saw as she looked passed him, and he turned around to see Gus posted up against the stall door, only his head being seen..
