A truck pulled up to the stables with a trailer hooked up in the back. The truck came to a stop and an old man got out and went to the trailer. He lowered the ramp and looked to the chestnut Quarter Horse named Flash. The stallion started moving around pulling on the lead rope that was tied to the bars inside. "Damnit! Relax Flash! I'll get you out in a second." the old man yelled as he started walking up the ramp. "Your going to have to move if I'm going to untie you." he growled. The horse moved out of the way allowing a narrow path to the lead rope. The man grabbed the rope and started walking back down the ramp, leading the brute behind him. "There you go. Happy?" Flash snorted in reply. The man laughed before walking him into the barn. "Hmm..." he looked around for a free stall. "Ah there we go! Come on." he tugged on the rope and Flash simply followed. Once he reached the stall he lead Flash in and shut the gate. He unhooked the lead and patted Flash on the forehead. "There ya go. You should feel better now." he spoke as he opened the gate and walked out. "Well now you just have to wait for a new owner. Good luck!" he called back to the stallion as he walked away. Flash stood there for a second and watched as the man walked away. Well... now he was bored... He looked around his new stall found some hay and water. He placed his muzzle in the cool water and munched on some hay.

Rylie heard a truck from her bed. She woke up as fast as she good and put decent clothes on. By time she made it outside, the truck had evidently pulled off. She figured her temporary horse, Flash, must have been dropped off. Your welcome.. she thought to herself, she could be so polite to some of the strangest critters.
Once she made way to the stables, she found a chestnut sitting in a near stall. She stepped over and looked into the box to see him already making himself at home,
Hey boy..
She cooed softly, attempting not to scare the creature before her. She wiped her eyes again, trying to get the rest of the sleep out of them.

Well the stalls didn't seem too bad. Though he couldn't say he'd want to be there all his life. Ears perked when he caught the sound of someone coming. He lifted his head and looked around before dipping his muzzle into the water. He must have been hearing things.
Hey boy.. the quiet words surprised him still. His head jerked up and he looked to the girl. Flash nickered to the her and continued to stare. He was glad someone actually was there. ((Damn Rhymes!! Dx))

She moved a step over to his door where there was a gap. With a soft smile of his tad bit of shock, she reached in carefully. Leaned against the door, she made contact with his soft pelt on his broad shoulder. This probably wasn't the smartest move to make with a new horse - a stallion, at that - but she did it anyway.

He watched her movements carefully. When she reached into touch him, he shifted his body and swished his tail to swat some bugs away. He didn't seem to care. His shoulder twitched when she made contact. He was pretty calm when he was in the stables. Outside was a different story.

When he twitched, she was more careful with her touch, but still rubbing him. She didn't want to be much of a burden to him while he ate - no telling when the last time was he did eat anyway. She gathered herself together and sighed softly,
Well, hope you enjoy your stay.
She cooed quietly to him. She was tired and might go take another nap before getting anything officially done today.

The horse turned it's attention fully on her as she rubbed his shoulder. When she stopped and backed away, he started to follow but remembered the gate blocking him off. Well it looked like she was leaving. Brute snorted and looked left and right to the other stalls. They were both empty. Well that sucked... Oh well. He'd get used to it. ((Yep thanks ^ ^))
