Taylor Joe walked August around the hole pen and when she reached the gate she pushed August to the side and opened the gate and turned her around and shut it once agian. She dismounted and turned to see Colt drinkin a beer. She laughed alittle while she walked to her rig where it was beside Colt's rig. She untacked august and let her take a drink of water that she fetched for her and tied her up. She walked to her passanger side of her truck and began to strip down from her chaps. She placed them in the back seat of her chevy and turned around and looked at colt.
" So you willing to share you beet there?" She forgot to bring her cooler and well...it was a hot day and it was about time to have one. She set her rope in the tool box that set in the back of her truck then walked over to colts truck.
"So, If you don't mind me asking...Where did you come before you came here?" She looked at him from under her black felt hat.

He couldn't help but watch her as she shedded off the chaps. He took another swig of the alcohol - tasting mighty fine on this kind of day. He listened to her as she walked by him and he pointed to the bed of his truck where the silver cooler sat, full of them.
Back there. Help yourself.
He took, yet, another drink, being about half way done with the can - still tasting like it came from the cooler. He was drinking that fast, like he hadn't had anything to drink for the past month.
I'm from Texas. Austin, Texas actually. A friend referred me to Bar-B so i worked there while I went to school til I got tired of it and got the money to get my own plot. And I got a hell of a deal for my land.. I couldn't pass it up. What about you?
He finished off his beer, crunched the can and tossed it in the back of his truck as it clanked around loudly in the empty truck bed and the noise finally settled.

She smiled and walked to the back of colt's truck and opened the cooler and grabed herself a beer and closed the cooler. She opened the beer and it fused up and the smell of the beer just made her mouth water. She took a drink of the beer and listen to Colt talk about where he lived.
" Well...Im from Cheyenne, Wyoming. Its a great place. I heared about Bar-B and I told my brother that I was coming and he followed me down. I would like my own land, but for right now I just kinda want to ride at other places. I don't have the time to have my own place."
She took another swig of her beer and it was almost half empty from her drinking it down. She was pretty thirsty and the weather was just right for one of these. She watched her mare as she fell asleep there standing by the trailer.
Yeah, That trailer has been threw alot. It used to be my mothers, then once I turned 16 I took it too the Rodeo's and shows. I was gone every weekend and never played any sports in High School. I wish I did, but I don't mind at all for I have all the knowlege I want to know and its about horses."
She smiled sweetly to him and gave him a wink and moved from his truck and took her felt cap off and stuck it her truck. Her head was getting hot and sweaty from it and well she didn't really need it much at all. She liked colt alot and she hardly knew him at all. Just her personatily toward horses and how he treated people. She walked back over and took the last drink of her beer and crushed the can and dropped it in the back of his truck.

Colt followed her words and listened, nodding his head as he took in what she said. He followed her with his eyes as she walked and put her felt up and finished off her beer about as quick as he did.
She rambled about her trailer, and he listened contently as he got up and grabbed them both another beer and he cracked his open again, taking a smaller sip than before. He was going to attempt to enjoy or atleast taste this one. He studied her trailer as she spoke about its history, all it really needed was a touch up on the paint and it would look brand spankin' new - and that wasn't even really necessary.

Taylor Joe looked at him and took the beer he gotten her. She felt like she was just rambling on and on. She did that when she was nervous about something.
'Im sorry that I ramble alot."
She looked at him and looked at her trailer. It need some repair and well...right now she didn't have the money to repair it for she needed to money for her horses. She looked around the area and it was very beautiful place to sit and talk. No one else showed up which is werid for it was a great place to practice if a horse wasn't used to indoor arena's.
She popped her's open and took a good sip of it and looked over to him. He was pretty handsome standing there drinking himself a beer. Before she got caught lookin at him, she looked forward and just stood there.

Colt shook his head in a nonsense fashion, reassuring her,
Trust me, it's no big deal. I'd rather you ramble than me trying to hold a conversation with a mute.
He swished a small little smirk on his face and took another drink of his beer. He sat the can on the fender of his trailer and reached over to the impatient Cowboy, who was pawing at the dirt before him. Colt knew this meant he would like relief from that saddle already.
He loosened the girth and slid the saddle off and hauled it to the tack closet provided at the tail end of the trailer. He threw it on the designated rack and came back, taking off the bridle and slipped on a leather halter from Yellow Rose, won by team roping.

Taylor Joe just smiled and then nooded her head. She watched as he went to care for his horse and untack him. August was already untack with her halter on just standing there dosing off.
Taylor looked at the halter Colt was putting on and it was a very nice looking halter too. She looked around and moved away from Colt's truck and set her can on the back of her truck finder and untied August's lead from the trailer and let her start eatting grass around her. She picked up the can agian and took another drink.
" So, what is your place called Colt?"

He sat back down and took another drink as he observed Taylor, he watched how she just let her horse eat. With Cowboy being so tired, Colt could probably do the same - but he wouldn't take that kind of chance with that boy.
Crooked Path Ranch, just on the north side of town.
He answered shortly, as he finished off his second - and last - beer. He wouldn't drive a trailer after he had been drinking so he just figured he might need to quit.

Taylor finished off her last beer and looked at colt. She really needed to pick up her new horse that was at Bar-B. She was going to be a great mare for Taylor to breed studs too and couldn't wait. Taylor looked at Colt and then back to August and grabed August lead and walked her to the back of the trailer and loaded her up in the two horse trailer. She locked the gate behind August and checked to make sure she had some hay in there for her.
Taylor picked up the bucket on the trailer and poured out all of the water in it and put it back in the bucket. She looked at Colt and smiled. " Thanks, I'll be there here in a little bit if thats ok. I gotta go pick up my other horse." Taylor smiled and really didn't want to leave. She wanted to stay here with Colt and talk, but she needed to go and get her mare.
She walked toward the drivers side of her truck and opened the door and stepped inside and turned on her truck. She rolled down the windows and said" I'll see you around colt."

Colt watched as she loaded her stuff up and he chunked the can into his truck bed. He decided he mgiht as well do what she did. He poured the bucket of water on the ground and stuck the bucket in the tack closet. He nodded as she spoke,
Yeah, that's fine.
He loaded Cowboy into his sundowner and secured the slant and walked out. He swung the big door and locked it, came around and unlatched the window and allowed the gelding to get a breeze when they got on the road.. He waved as she drove off.. he got into his own truck and headed out, too.
