[[OOC:// Don't mind if someone catches him, other horses are also welcomed.\\]]
The bay tovero stud roamed the grassy hills, looking out over the lower plains. He stood unprotected, seen by all on the side of the hill, grazing merrily, swishing his tail and twitching his skin to rid himeself of flies. He paid attention to his surrondings, swivling his ears this way and that, zeroing in on something approaching. He raised his head and snorted warm air, his dark head raising to the sky and smelling something, he just couldn't put his hoof on it...

Call Me Firefly walked up the hill and saw the stallion. She stopped and flicked her ears towards him and then trotted over. She whinnied a little to him and made it to the top finally. She walked over to him and looked at him. She brushed off a fly with her tail and nipped at another one on her leg.

The stallion smelled another horse, a mare to be presise. Amazing how horses could do that, eh? He could also smell that she was alone, without a stallion to claim her. Where was her herd? Usually fillies born in a herd stay in that herd, unless they get seperated by predators-and the only predators out here were the two-legged, hairless, rat-like creatures called humans. They were the fiercest predator out there, capturing horses and torturing them by putting rods of metal in their mouthes and slabs of leather on their backs, only to get kicked in the sides by pointy metal things attached to the monster's feet.
The colt was weary of the new arrival, walking up to her slowly and circling around her, keeping a good five to seven feet between them before walking up to her and touching her nose, claiming her as his own.

Firefly snorted and looked at him as he circled her. He came over and touched her nose and she watched him. She whinnied a hello and brushed off a few flies that landed on her.

The painted stud nickered lowly, lowering his head back down to graze, ears still swivling, searching for dangers. He raised his head as the wind whistled through the grass, his tail touching his hide, and his mane moving back on his neck. He turned his head around the touch his belly with a soft nose, scaring away the bugs that had taken a rest on his dirtied coat.

Firefly dropped her head to graze, still searching for dangers. Well the only dangers were humans really, besides a few other animals here and there, but they were the worst. They didn't usually come here but she still kept her ears listening for danger. The wind picked up a little, blowing her mane and tail a little but she didn't pay any mind to it. She lifted her head a little to look over the plains but didn't see anything. She brushed off a few flies with her tail before going back to grazing. Her head lifted back up, higher this time when she saw the stallion, searching for something it almost looked like. She turned her ears towards the far side of the plain but couldn't hear or see anything dangerous still.

The colt started to walk down towards the stream, looking back at the mare and nickering softly, as if he was telling her to follow. He stepped down the hill carefully and slowly, his rump tucked under him to help him keep control of his body. His tail swished side to side to help his balance, and at times he slipped, his hard hooves scraping on the ground, while his front feet locked at the knees to stop himself.

She followed him down the hill carefully. Her hooves slipped a few times but she didn't fall or hurt herself badly at all. Firfly's hooves scraped across the hill when she slipped but she managed to regain her footing and keep her balance. She followed him all the way down the hill carefully, making sure too keep her footing well enough to not fall.

Once they arrived at the creek, the stud took a long drink, dipping his velvet nose down to the water's surface, moving it around at first, and then stopping it dead in it's tracks, his throat latch expanding and contracting as he swallowed the water. He raised his head as he waited for the mare to finish, shaking his neck, and then his body; it helped with the bugs. When the mare finished, he touched her nose and whinnied loudly, and then galloped off towards the town, in search of new horses. He wasn't planning on the mare to follow, he'd be back...hopefully.

Firefly drank some of the water in big gulps. Once she was done she lifted her head and looked at the stud. He touched her nose again and whinnied before galloping off. Firefly whinnied afetr him but didn't follow, too afraid of going on the human's land. If she needed she would leave but otherwise she would stay around this area until he got back.
