Emma paced slightly waiting for her mystery person to show. "Make-up,crap."

[/b] she yelled. She sprinted to the bathroom,she dug around for and make-up case. Once she found it she got to putting some on. She would hate to look like a hobo at this time. Remembering she did not blowdry her hair she did quickly,it had that cute wave effect so she left it be.

She lit a few candles trying to atleast get it to not smell so much like cleaner. She took the chinese boxes and set them on the small table in the living room.

Alex parked his car in a space. He glanced to Lenny who was eager to jump out of the car already. Alex shut the car off and got out. Lenny got out behind him. Alex shut the door and locked it. He put his keys into his pocket and took the leash from the waiting dog. He walked the dog into the complex and found the apartment he needed to find. He knocked on the door. Lenny sat down on his hind legs and wagged his tail. The yellow lab just wanted to meet too many people now that he was out of his owner's smelly apartment.

Emma walked to the door as she heard it being knocked on. "Hey there."

[/b] she said as she smiled. Eyes looked at the Lab,he was a cutie. "Come in."[/b]she said sweetly. Em walked a little ahead of them and turned waiting for them to make their way in. She did a scan of the house,she was so glad she had cleaned and packed everything away today. Emma was a slob most of the time,when it came to having company over she was spick and span.

Alex walked leading Lenny into the apartment. Lenny wagged his tail faster. "Just be lucky there were no leaves blowing around outside. I wouldn't be here at the moment" he said. He removed the leash from the dog's collar. "By the way, his name is Lenny and mine is Alex" he said.

Emma closed the door as the made their way into the apartment. "It surely is not that bad is it?."

[/b] she laughed. Green eyes looked over the two,they looked like a good match. "I'm Emma."[/b]she said softly to him. Hand extended to him.

Alex smiled and held out his hand toward hers. Lenny sat on his hind legs next to Alex's leg. He barked softly. " He'll learn not to chase leaves soon enough I hope" he said. He glanced to Lenny who was eager to pounce onto the table. But, he grabbed onto the dog's collar to keep him right in his spot.

She shook his hand,Emma noticed the dogs wandering eyes toward the chinese. "Lenny,I'll make a deal with you. You do good in lessons and I will give you some grub.

[/b] she said. Em got on her knees and stroked Lenny's soft fur. "Sound good to you?."[/b]she asked Alex and she looked up at him. She wanted eveything to be okay with the owner.[/size][/blockquote][/color]

Alex watched to make sure Lenny understood her. The yellow labrador wagged his tail more. He nodded his ears flopping slightly when he did so. Alex thought for a minute. "It's okay with me" he said. Lenny looked up at Alex and barked softly. He was a calm and happy dog most of the time. But, then looking to Alex's still hurt ankle the dog lowered his head slightly.

A small laugh came from her,never had she saw a dog that showed so much expression. Except Ziva. "Okay.

[/b] she said. Em watched where the dogs eyes had looked to. "Oh my gosh,your bleeding!"[/b]she gasped. Quickly she went to the bathroom and came back with some bandages adn ointment for him. She bit her lip. "Here sit down and I will fix you up."[/b] [/size][/blockquote][/color]

Alex had help from Lenny to sit down near the table. Lenny whimpered and stayed close by. He felt bad for biting his owner before they came here. He laid down. His ears drooping sadly now. Alex sighed. "Looks like he doesn't need any obedience lessons now. Just look at him" he said. Lenny was feeling emotion towards Alex now. Alex was just finally seeing it in his clever dog.

She sat beside Alex,she chewed on her bottom lip. She lifted his pants leg up slowly and tend to the bleeding wound. Clensing it with antiseptic,she put some ointment on it so it would not get any infection,after that she wrapped it. "That should do it.

[/b] she said. Green eyes looked at the lab who was sulking for his bad way "Your going to have to be a little gentle."[/b]she said to the dog. It was clear the dog felt sorry for biting him.

"Eh,we still may have to work on it just a little bit." [/b]she said. Emma looked at Alex. [/size][/blockquote][/color]

Alex sighed. He looked to Lenny and then to Emma. He felt better being around just his dog. "Yeah I guess your right. He needs a little work but, maybe now that he's showing signs of some more emotions other than just being full of energy he might turn out to be a better dog than I thought. I've never seen him look so upset about something since...um nevermind" he said. Lenny got up and walked over to them. He sat down and still had his ears drooped sadly.

[/b] she asked softly. Green eyes looked looked up at his,she patted her leg letting know Lenny know he was welcome to sit with her and Alex. She needed to know some things about Lenny and Alex so she could understand eveything between them. [/size][/blockquote][/color]

Alex sighed. He hoped that she was up for a long story. "It's a long story. Plus, I don't know if you want to hear the whole story" he said. Lenny jumped up on the couch with them. He panted and watched them both. He looked straight at Alex knowing that the long story was kind of depressing.

Em without taking her eyes of him moved some of the extra containers of food down to their side of the table,she always ordered eveything in doubles. She picked up the box of lo mein and slowly ate it,giving some to Lenny after every bite. [/size][/blockquote][/color]
