Max Smithson parked his truck and truck just outside. He would unload the thoroughbred after he told the vet what had happened. Shutting the truck off right away he jumped out. He walked into the clinic. He glanced around. He hoped he'd be able to get his thoroughbred looked at. He needed to work the stallion on the track soon. He needed the horse for a race. He went to the desk and removed his hat. He was going to wait as long as he needed in order to have his horse looked at.

Ben James walked into the front waiting room area, taking the doorway to get behind the wrap-a-round desk from the back room."Doctor Benjamin James. How may I help you today, Sir?" He smiled his this-is-buisness grin and wiped his hands off on a hand towel he found at one of the desk stations. Where was that assistant that human resources said they'd send over? He'd be needing 'em right about now.
Ben glanced out the window and spied a truck and trailer, a horse or other form of livestock was probally inside, and Ben'd prefer to go to the place where the animal is kept, so they're not in a new place, with different sights, sounds and smells, not familiar to the animal, causing them to act-out.

Max sighed. [/b]One of my horses was kicked by another one of my horses. I brought both with me because I was just at the Expocenter. I would have taken them both home but I thought maybe just a quick drop in would be okay[/b] he said. He hoped that Platinum Trigger would allow this to happen. But, if not he'd have to give up on him.

Ben nodded, scratching his arm and grabbing his keys to the mobile vetting truck. "Take 'em 'round back with your truck. You'll see a small four-horse barn. Put each horse in their own stall, one in the first stall to the left, the other in the last stall to the right. I'll meet ya' out there." He waited for the man to return to his truck, while the young vet walked out a back door and directed the man where to park, next to his own red Dodge Ram.

Max went back to his truck. He started it up and drove it around back. He parked and shut his truck off. He got out. He went to the trailer and lowered the ramp. He went in and lead Black Hawk down the ramp. He lead him to the last stall on the right and put him into it. He shut the door. Going back to the trailer he unloaded his limping thoroughbred. He put him in the first stall to the left. He hoped the thoroughbred would be alright.

Ben nodded, opening the door to his truck and driving it into the barn." Do they stand well, or do I have to sedate 'em?" He got out of his truck and slmaed the door shut, and then took a key from his ring and unlocked, then opened all the compartments on his truck and pulled out a syringe with blue liquid. OOC://Could you maybe give me a description of the injury while posting, like is it puffy, an open wound, etc? It would really help me out \\

Max stood looking at Platinum Trigger's hind right leg. Seeing that is was puff and had hardly any weight on it. Looking to the stallion's eyes he saw pain while the chestnut horse stood. Even trying to walk on it bothered him. Well my black gelding kicked my chestnut stallion while loading him and hurt his right hind leg. I got him here as fast as I could without speeding he said. He looked at his horse with worry written all over his face. He didn't want to see his best horse standing in a stall or a pasture until he was better. He'd do anything. He looked down the aisle to look at his black gelding who had put his head out of the stall to watch.

OOC://Please repost, describing the injury in the post. Your character doesn't need to say it, though it would be helpful if your character explained what happened, e.g.'So-and-so looked down at his horse's hind right leg. It was puffy, and very hot. The horse was limping badly, and showing great deals of pain, while he was standing, it was resting, no weight on the foot at all. "My other horse kicked out at him while I was loading them into the trailer, and struck his right hind fetlock area. I came over here as soon as I could." Said the man infront of the vet, worry concetrating on his face as he glanced down the barn isleway at the two horses in their tenperary stalls.' Don't copy mine though, use your own words.\\

OOC://Thank you...\\
Ben nodded, entering the stall with the chestnut and running his hand down his right hind leg and shaking his head."I'll keep him at my place while he's recovering. I only have one other horse, and he'll be on the complete other side of the barn, so he'll be fine. This way I can keep a better watch on him, incase any other symptoms arise. He should be fine with a small amount of bute everyday and soaking the foot in icewater for a week or so, twice a day. I'll also keep an iceboot on him, and make sure he doesn't move around too much. You can start physical theropy in a month or so, only for as long as it takes, and then he should be fine." He looked over the horse again, looking at his muscle structure."Is he a racer?" If he was, his owner was sure for a suprise. It'll cost money, but it'll be the best for him, and he would be sound until another accident.

Max thought for a minute. Alright. I was planning to start racing him soon he said. He had the money so he was willing to pay for what his horse needed done. He stroked the stallion's neck. He hoped his horse would be okay some where else for a while. Glancing to Black Hawk he sighed.

Ben smiled."You can check on him whenever you like, I just ask you not to bring dogs or other horses along. He should be ready to come home by next monday." He watched the other horse intently."When was the last time they were wormed, and are they both current of vaccines?" They both looked to be in wonderful condition, healthy, at a good weight and their feet looked great.

Max thought for a few minutes. Knowing both his horse had all the shots they needed up to date. They both had all the shots they needed up to date. That was sometime last week before I moved here[/] he said. He knew he wouldn't bring any other horses around his stallion. He didn't own any dogs so that he didn't have to worry about. Platinum Trigger grunted and raised his injured leg off the ground. Black Hawk snorted and pawed the ground. He wanted to go home.

Ben nodded."That's good. Now, about his future racing carrer. He will be able to race when you think he's ready, after the therapy and such, but neverless, he'll be able to race on his leg, no problems." He crossed his arms and rested against the wall. The horse's injury wasn't bad at all, no breaks, just a little sore. "Now, do you want to drive him over now, or take home your other horse and I can take him over to my place after I'm done with work over here? Your choice." He'd tell him the name of the farm, and then give him directions if he chose the second option, but with the first, he'd just have him follow himself in his truck, and then give him directions to get back into town, as it was aways out in the mustang country, about fifteen to twenty miles out of town.

Max thought for a minute. I should really get my gelding home. I'll stop by sometime during this week to check on him. But, how much do I owe you? He said. He knew his wallet was in his back pocket. Not knowing how much he he to pay he had a check book with him as well. He was not worried about hos Platinum Trigger would handle the new place until he was better.
