Cody shrugged off her MD comment with ease. There were plenty of people who got in his face about his giving medical advice. After all, what did he know as a lowly cop with first aid training and semi-annual refresher courses? "Occupational hazard," he said with another shrug. "If I'm first on the scene of an accident I'm emergency first aid before cop. So it just sorta transfers over into the rest of my life. You get used to it." He crammed another handful of Cheetos into his mouth and chomped them happily. He loved Cheetos and he needed a bit of food with all the alcohol.
He watched silently as Mirrah got up and paced, then opened some windows. She said she was warm, but Cody felt perfectly fine. Sure, his face was a little flushed from a night of drinking that was slowly going more and more to his head, but heat wise he was at a perfectly comfortable temperature. But, if she was warm he was perfectly fine with her opening the windows. What he wasn't expecting was the sudden taking off of her belt and shirt. He paused momentarily, a handful of Cheetos halfway to his mouth. Interesting bra. Realizing he was staring, Cody quickly crammed the Cheetos into his mouth and looked down at the floor.
Well, that was certainly not what he was expecting. This girl was something else. He glanced over at the dog when Mirrah mentioned her. "Well, since the invitation has been extended, and you don't mind, I think it's best if I crash here," he admitted finally. "I'm in no shape to drive, and I probably shouldn't even be walking on my own at this point. Hah!"

A sporadic leap sent Mirrah up onto the coffee table - a rather well-built antique, the glass frames rattling in protest but the oak exterior offering no breakage or even shifting. She rounded the table on her tiptoes, one foot in front of the other like a drunk at a sobriety check point. Facing the empty portion of couch, she sucked her curved tummy in and held her breath, taking a deep bow before popping back upright with arms out to her sides airplane style.
"Ladies and Gentleman.. the amazing Flying Vesuvius! Raaaaahhhhh...." She hissed in the usual canned crowd noise, the ooooooh, aaaaahhhhh, before launching herself off the table in a somersault. She had nearly made it onto the back of the sofa but fell short, tumbling backward to flomp roughly onto her back, head hanging off the couch cushions. "Oomph!" Kalli leapt to her feet and ran over to take advantage of the situation, kissing Mirrah's face enthusiastically. The drunk and hyper - and still very much starving - woman shoved the dog away, giggling hysterically.
"Ohhh, that was fun." She socked Cody in the arm roughly - though her version of 'roughly' was varying greatly from the male version of 'roughly' - wriggling over to flop her head in his lap, feet still propped on the back of the sofa beside him. She made a neat little "L" shape in this position, ribs protruding. "Oh, sorry. Am I making you uncomfortable like this?" She snapped her own bra strap for emphasis, smirking up at him.
