Having not quite made it out yet, or even away from the bar for that matter, she eavesdropped for only a moment as she shoved her credit card back in her wallet. Ears perking at his status, her right eyebrow lifted in interest as she pivoted back to the pair still at the bar. She plastered on something like a smile and when she was careful not to interrupt, she thrust her own hand to the new male. "Domi Taylor, farrier. I'm sure we'll be seeing quite a bit of each other." True, she believed in a working relationship with someone who looked after the rest of a horse's anatomy from her focus on up. Being farrier, she had the feet, being the vet, he had everything else. But still, it all connected to the same beast, so they should at least know one another.

The vet turned his gaze over to the girl, who obviously was eager to meet him. He just put on a smile and shook her hand."Ben James. I'm sure we will." Finishing off his drink with one large gulp, he paid the tender with a ten, taking the change off of the bar's counter."Nice meeting you ladies, but I better get going. I've got some new people starting at the clinic this week, so I've got to get everything ready for 'em." With that, he walked out of the door, taking his car a fifteen-mile drive to his farm. He was unfaltered by the beer, so his driving was no different from when he was completely sober.
