Lisa parked her camaro in a spot and shut it off. Looking down to her bad leg which was a little red from the pain today she sighed. Kovu sat next to her watching her closely. She clipped the leash to him and got out slowly. He followed her. She shut the door and locked the camaro. She walked Kovu over to the same bench she sat on the next day.
Kovu barked and stayed close to her. For once he actually didn't want to be let off his leash while at the park. Lisa didn't mind her dog's mood changes. She actually ignored his angry moods. She liked the protective side of her dog. It meant she didn't need to worry about her leg very much anymore. She removed the leash. "Go, you need to stretch your legs. I'll be fine you crazy dog" she said. Kovu barked and walked away from her to stretch his tense legs for a while.

He was alone today walking around downtown. After getting to know the place better, he decided to go relax at the park. Hands in his pockets and bangs hid his eyes. His face was expressionless but his eyes shown relaxation.
Once he reached the park he headed torwards the last place he saw Lisa. Upon reaching the bench he found she was actually there. A warm smile broke through and he walked up. "Hey there Lisa." He took a quick glance down to her leg. It looked a little worse than their last encounter. "How's your leg." Probably the dumbest thing to ever come out of his mouth.
He walked over to the free space on the bench and took a seat. He noticed Kovu walking around and remembered Bandit. He'd kill him if he knew he was here. He chuckled at the thought before turning back to Lisa, still waiting for an answer.

Lisa looked up and smiled slightly. "Hey. My leg's alright today. It's painful but I try to ignore it" she said. She was glad to have a chance to talk to him again. She glanced to see Kovu actually sitting a bit away from them watching her. She knew he was still going to worry about her leg for a while. But, she couldn't stop him from being that way. She looked to her leg and saw the red still on it a bit. She never wore skirts or long shorts or jeans. She just couldn't.

He was glad she was doing okay but ofcourse he was still wondering about it. It had to hurt walking around like that all the time. "Have you gone to a doctor for it?"
As he sat there he had the feeling someone was staring. He looked out to see Kovu watching. He chuckled at his worrying.
He looked back to Lisa then looked to the leg. He couldn't get it off his mind. He looked back up and stared into Lisa's eyes. Sympathy shown despite his cheerful smile. He wanted to help her but what could he do? He didn't even know what all is wrong with it.

Lisa sighed. "I've been seeing doctors about it ever since the accident. It was broken badly after the fall. They put cast after cast on it. But, it's still in alot of pain" she said. Kovu ran over and sat near her. She sighed and scratched the dog behind the ears. She looked to him and sighed. She knew doctors had no clue what to do with her leg now. But, she had to try.

He stared before hearing the dog run over. He backed off a bit wondering what was wrong. He eventually ignore him and looked back up to Lisa. "So that's it? They not try situate it or anything?" It was the worst feeling ever, he knew. But it helped out a lot. "How long ago did you say it was again?"He scratched the back of his head pondering. Just one of the many things he done when he was nervous or thinking. He decided to try and start a conversation. "What did you do? I mean riding. Jumping, racing...?" ((I'm running outta time so sorry for the short post. If I don't get to it tonight I'll reply again tomorrow. I've got school so have to head off to bed soon ><)

She sighed and looked down at her leg. "That's it they tried to make me walk with out a really bad limp but, it's what I walk with. It hurts to walk without my dog right next to my leg. I was a jockey. That's where the accident happened on a race horse during a big race" she said. Kovu barked and watched the two of them.

Xavier sighed, "Damn... That sucks..." He looked down to the leg again before looking out over the park. He looked over to Kovu once the dog barked and chuckled. ((I'm really low on the muse. Must. Make. Longer. Posts! >< )

"Yeah it sucks but, now I know that I'm never going to get on a horse again. Unless the doctors here can help me get rid of my limp. But, Kovu doesn't understand that sometimes I can't do things he might want to do here at the park. I can't jog or do much" she said. Lisa looked to him. Kovu whined and laid down and closed his eyes. He wasn't worried anymore. He was bored.
