Well she didn't seem to care to much. He took her response and laughed. "Yep. Right behind ya." As he followed her the thought popped up. 'Wonder if she's like this all the time. Might just be the alcohol.' he chuckled at the thought. "So how far are you out here?" he wasn't too curious really. Just trying to get a conversation started while they walked.

She kept walking as he came beside her. She pointed to their right,
I'm over there by that tree.. So I don't lose my truck.
She laughed a little, but she couldn't help but have those natural, blonde moments. It wasn't really that far off from everything - just from where they were. She kept walking, dragging her feet a bit with each step, taking advantage of having slcik-bottom boots on her feet. She didn't know exactly why she was so amused by that. She quit though, once she caught herself doing it out of habit. When she checked up, they were a lot close to the truck now.

He looked to where she pointed to, "Okay. Good idea." He thought about the guys back on the fairgrounds. Since he wasn't around them they'd probably leave without him. He didn't seem to care. They were getting a little annoying. Well he finally realized they were there.

When she reached the truck bed, she stretched for the cooler and popped the lid off, revealing about a case of beer and a bottle of Crown and a couple cans of coke. She turned back to him after grabbing a beer.
Help yourself.
She said as she threw her thumb behind her and opened the door of her truck, digging for a piece of gum.. Once she found it, she stuffed it in her mouth and came out and slammed the door. She popped the top and took a drink. Something about mint gum and beer, it almost mixes with her. Whatta freak.

Once the beer was revealed. He walked over and grabbed one for himself. "Thanks for the beer." he replied. He took a drink and stood there watching her chew her gum and take a drink. He could smell the mint. Mint gum and beer seemed to make his mouth taste funny just thinking about it. He walked over to the tree and leaned against it. "So what are you doing out here alone? I mean. If you don't mind me asking." He took another chug and looked to her curiously.

She smiled a "welcome." and thought about her answer for a second,
Had nothing else to do with anybody else. This town is pretty bare lately, nobody to do much with..
She jus shrugged to conclude her statement, taking another sip of her beer. She just realized it was pointless to have wasted a piece of gum if she kep drinking. She sighed in stupidity but kept chewing.

He laughed again, "I wish I had that problem. People haven't been leaving me alone lately. Some peace and quiet sounds like a good thing." Her sigh seemed to cause him distress. He closed his eyes and sighed too. "Am I boring you or something?" He had to admit, it wasn't very fun just sitting around there. "I don't know what you like to do but I think I'm up for anything right now..."

She shook her head, problem? It was unusual for her to be this bored sometimes, in general life. She used to run 90 miles per hour constantly. But here lately, nothing has been sparking her interest.. well, till now. This conversation was pretty decent for her, she liked the just calm but social vibe. Then when he asked her of him boring her she looked a bit shocked,
Boring? No, not at all!
She smiled, he must've been studying her sigh. She realized it could've sent off the wrong tone - after it happened.
Yep, I'm with you - I'm pretty open for options, actually.
She said with a smile showing whites then took another drink of her beer, almost being finished. She took another drink and tossed the can in the bed of her truck. She walked over to the back of her truck and unlatched the tailgate and sat it down. She hopped up and parked herself right there for right now, right by the tree where he was resting.

His eyes jerked open when he heard her reply. "Alright." he said with a smirk. He'd pause for a second to think of some options. "Well... I was kind of hoping you'd have a plan." He looked around as if some idea would pop up. Nothing came to mind. "Any ideas?" he questioned. He know noticed her sitting on the tailgate. He shrugged, "I got nothing." he replied with a sigh and smile.

Kody relieved an over-dramatic sigh with a shrug.
You are just not a lick of help, sir!
She spoke with a fake annoyance. Then couldn't help but giggle. She twisted a loose hair behind her ear and rested her palms behind her, sitting back a bit. She thought to herself quietly, she really didn't know what he all liked to do. They just met, so ya know, they haven't gotten near that far.
I'm idea-less.
She said with a crooked smirk, almost lost in a daze as her mind kept trying to get ideas, with fails. She tapped her fingers behind her on the truck bed and stared up at the dark sky, stars were smeared about the clear sky. They were more visible from even the short walk from the lights to the more dim place, where they were standing at the moment.
