Kody was seeing double. Was it obvious that the girl may have a slight drinking problem yet? She finally cut herself off when she figured she would have enough guts to introduce herself to anybody tonight. She figured it could always go good, dressed in women's wranglers, and a camisole top along with her boots. Not to mention her big buckle she had won at a jackpot barrel racing.
She curled blonde locks behind her face as she walked around casually, trying to find somebody - anybody - to socialize with. But that booth with the drinks was really calling her name. She shook her head again and kept walking just about as aimless as she didn't know what.

Chad really had no idea why he was even there. His friends dragged him along to forget about the recent break-up he guessed. Problem was, they never really ever stuck to their plans. Right after the three guys got to the fairgrounds they fran into some girls. They offered and tried to get Chad to hang out with the chicks, but he really wasn't in the mood. That and he'd like to get away from the guys, they were starting to annoy him. Now, he walked around just waiting for the others to show, but while he was there he might as well try to enjoy himself.
He wasn't really paying any attention when he ran into someone. He backed away holding his hands up. "Whoa! Sorry ma'am."

Kody stumbled a bit to the fence that blocked people from going under the farris wheel. She turned around, leaning against the fence. With a soft smile and a grab for her rib, she shook her head..
It's okay honey..
She laughed a little, still holding her side. It couldn't be nothing beyond her own mind thinking out of the box, but she thought she felt a pain from crashing. She wanted to laugh at her dazed thoughts. What a blonde.

He stared at the girl for a minute completely silent. He sighed before rubbing the back of his head with his right hand. "I should've payed attention to where I was going." he replied with a nervous chuckle. He obviously didn't hear her. Lowering his hand he'd continue to stare. She was leaning against the fence. "Are you hurt?" he asked before looking around. He expected a huge guy to walk up and kicking his ass for touching 'his girl'.

She realized her hand was still glued to her side, she quickly peeled it away, still posted against the fencing. She laughed a little, too, as he did. She looked at herself for a second then back up at him, she grinned a little.
No, I - I think i'm fine
She tilted her head a bit and stuck her hand out for a formal greeting,
I'm Kody.
she said with a faint smile and glossy blue eyes that practically had liquor in them. She almost wished she had brought her gum with her now. She probably wreaked of alcohol even though it wasn't too much that she consumed - but the smell would always linger with just one.

'She thinks?' he ignored the thought and smiled warmly. "Alright as long as your fine." He thought about just leaving to look for the guys. Might as well not hold the girl here. She probably was wanting to get away before something else happened. That seemed to be cut off when she introduced herself. He reached out for her hand and shook it. "Hey Kody. I'm Chad." He backed away a little and lifted the brim of his hat. The smell of alcohol hit him and he smiled. "I was going to ask if you'd like a drink but apparently someone already beat me there." he joked.

She smiled at the buzz kill, named Chad - matter of a fact. She stood tall as he spoke in return of her greeting she finally blurted. She nodded with a smile when she released his hand that practically swallowed her small limb. She made a face as if a sour smell had just hit her,
Ha, don't be alarmed, it's just me, not here with anybody else, actually.
She said, relieving her face of the expression that was cartooned about her smooth features. She twisted her finger around a baby lock of hair and tucked it behind her ear,
I actually have a cooler in the parking lot - that's if, you really don't wanna pay for these high dollar drinks.
She motioned behind her where the large dirt lot was stocked with parked cars. She was the chevy three-quarter ton sitting by the big oak tree on the far side of the lot - her normal spot when she came here. She only smiled softly,
If you wanna walk with me - I think I need some gum or something for this breath anyways.
She laughed, blushing a bit and glancing around - almost embarassed to admit she also smelled the alcohol that lingered in her pressence. Rylie would probably kill her for coming home drunk - if she even went home tonight. The two hadn't been getting along to fair lately and, well, Kody was really tired of it. Oh, drama.

"Really? A girl as hot as you? I would've thought I'd have to fight someone tonight." he chuckled. At first he thought he'd try to stay away from any girls, but now... Why not have some fun? He looked over to the dirt lot she motioned to and smiled. "Not that I wouldn't be happy to buy you a drink, but since you pointed it out I guess we could go with your plan." He would be happy to get out of there. He wasn't too much of a crowds person. He paused and cocked a brow after she mentioned her breath. "Your fine. No worries. I was only joking."

Kody shook her head once again, tucking her arms into a fold and finding her sights on her scuffed up Anderson Beans' below herself. She wanted to laugh at his compliment - overly-flattered.
No, not tonight.
She joked as she playfully rolled her eyes with a shrug. She nodded with a smile as he mentioned buying her a drink again. She took a step towards the parking lot and flicked sideways a bit and her hands flung out a little and she stopped. She shook her head swiftly and took in a deep breath, looking back at him.
Care to help me out? I believe you owe me.
She said with a soft laugh, steadily embarassing herself. Not to mention that was a hard task to do, Kody was a bit of the shameless type, she didn't really know what made right now any different from any other time.

He could tell she enjoyed the compliment. "Too bad. I was actually willing to fight. Oh well." he shrugged. Once she started to walk off he followed her till she stopped. "Sure. What ya need?" He lifted his hat upward and flashed a smile. ((Sorry I lack muse...))

Kody slid her hand across her face and wanted to laugh but didn't. Humorous, that would be him. She held her arm out, now feeling her unashamed side come out to the public - or, err, him.
You could help me, uh, not stumble?
She said with a broad smile, half-minded and wondering if he would take up on the offer. It was almost weird for her to be this upfront after her streak of embarassment not even 5 minutes ago.
[[s'okay. i'm getting a little smaller, too.]]

He wasn't to sure what her motive was. He chuckled at her reply, "Ah alright. Well since you're not with anybody else..." he walked over and picked her up with ease holding her like a child. He kind of felt embarassed about what he just done but he just laughed. "That any better?" he questioned his white teeth gleaming. He started to walk forward, "Okay, where did ya park?"

She squealed and laughed,
No, no! I was just asking to help you stay on my feet!
She shook her head, leaping down. She bent over laughing. She took a step forward, feeling fine now. So she slowly took off and turned around to see if he was still game on going. It would be a long walk, but she didn't really feel like warning him.

He about cracked up when she squealed. Even more when she leaped out of his grip. "Yeah I kind of expected that reaction." He chuckled a little before speaking again. "Sorry I couldn't resist." He noticed his hat was knocked off when she 'escaped'. He turned around and picked up the cowboy hat, placed it on his head, and turned back to Kody. "Still want me to go or did I freak you out?" he chuckled again but he was serious. He knew he probably shouldn't had done that but it happened.

She smiled, and nodded, with another step closer to the parking lot.
You comin' or no?
She laughed a bit and crossed her arms, pretend impatience. Like she knew him that well, when all she knew was his name and they literally ran into eachother. She was half-drunk, he was a boy and she was a girl. That was about all she knew. Shy? Pshh naw, not Kody. It was rare for her to know a stranger - obviously.
