Colt pulled up in the gravel parking lot that belonged to the very Dixie Cafe. The black dodge rumbled as he put it into park behind the building. He switched the ignition and jumped out, slamming the door behind him and hit the lock button on the clicker. He made way into the cafe and found a table by a window where he could see his truck.
A waitress, probably in her mid-fourties, greeted him with a soft smile, asking what he wanted to drink or to start off with,
Sweet tea, please.
He looked around on the menu as the lady went and grabbed him a drink.

Ashlee put the car in park and rolled up the windows. Like any girl she checked her hair in a little pocket mirror before getting out of the car. She grabbed her purse and slammed the car door closed. Dixie Cafe she thought to her self as she walked in to the cafe. She went to a table against the wall. A waitress came up to her and asked what she would like to drink. Ice water, please She ran her hand through her blond hair and glanced at the menu. Once she looked over the menu she started to dig through her purse. To busy trying to find her cell phone, her keys fell to the floor unnoticed.

He turned to see a small blonde sit in the table next to him. He turned back to his menu, minding his own and almost jumped at the jingling sound of keys hitting tile. He found his attention at the loop of keys in a jumbled mess on the floor between him and the girl. Stretched outreach to grasp the keys, he sat them on the table top infront of her, he softly smiled at her in a kind manner.
The waitress brought him the sweet tea along with her water. He nodded a thanks and took a long drink - just about dehydrated.

She stared at the man wide eyed for a moment before saying quickly Hi.Thank you. She said it so fast is was like it was one word. She blushed, embarrassed that she was being so nervous. She reached out, grabbing her keys. She put them back in her purse. As the waitress sat the glass of water on the table she nodded a thank you. She took a sip of it and placed it back on the table.

Colt was nearly startled by her quick slang. Confused,
Your welcome - I think.
He said with a crooked grin, trying not to laugh. Not at her, but to think she might have thought he was some creep or something. He was humored at the simple idea of him being some psycho that was willing to take somebody's keys right before their face. Finally, he couldn't hold it in - well a little bit of it, anyway. He relieved a quiet chuckle. Shaking his head, the waitress rounded about his table once more and he ordered a chicken fried steak dinner.

She glared at the man as he began to laugh. Was he laughing at her? If so how dare he! Excuse me, sir. Are you laughing at me? She said in a serious tone. As the waitress came back around to take her order she ordered a cheeseburger dinner. Once the waitress left she looked at the man in front of her, still awaiting any answer.

Right then, he caught her uptight tone. He couldn't help but laugh again, deciding to just be honest with her - she didn't ask for less.
Why, yes. You talk like you have a motor boat in your jaws, ma'am.
He smiled and and shook his head. He figured she must have been new to these parts, because most people wouldn't take a notion such as that so seriously. It was almost absurd, if he wouldn't have been the type to understand people that were, well, outside of the box.

Her jaw dropped as she listen to the young man. Motor boat for a mouth? She was offended. Well she couldn't help that the man scared her when he turned around earlier to pick of her keys that fell on the floor unnoticed. At least he didn't take them she thought.... She didn't know what to say. She was speechless. Whatever She mumbled as she glanced down at the table.
OOC no clue what to say....

Colt shook his head, nonsense. He turned around as the waitress brought two plates, his and her's. He cut into his steak as she simply said 'whatever'.
If you insist.
He laughed again, and dug into his plate slowly.

Ash sighed and looked up when the waitress brought her food. She said a polite thank you as the waitress walked away. She took a bite of the cheeseburger before sitting it back down on the plate. She started off on the wrong foot. Made a fool of herself, in a way. She thought for a moment before she started to talk. So whats your name anyway? She said softly, in a kind voice, hoping she won't make a fool of her self, again.
OOC x.x im clueless

Colt nearly dropped the piece that was hanging on his fork. He turned to her, a little lost. But her attention was tuned into him. He took the bite that was nearly lost and chewed it slowly, wondering whether or not he ought to respond to her question due to her opposite tone from a minute ago. He was short,
Colt.
He cut up another piece and stuck it in his mouth as he had been doing. He decided he wasn't going to instantly be nice, like he normally was. He was just quiet.

So his name was Colt? That was a ..... cool name. She took another bite of the burger and thought for a moment. She took a sip of water before talking about. Im sorry how I acted earlier. I mean, Im new here and not use to things like that. Im sorry. She said and sighed. By the way my name is Ashlee.... She mumbled wondering if he heard her. She took another bite of the cheeseburger.

Colt chewed on his piece and swallowed it with a gulp as she kept speaking. He listened to her without looking - almost offended. But decided since she had enough heart to apologize to stranger, he figured he could be normal Colt again.
It's fine, you just really got to get used to generosity around here. This isn't the big city.
He started on his french fries, still only being about half way through the giant chicken fried steak. He nodded as she added her name, not to be rude, but he kind of had a mouth full.

She took a few more bites of the cheeseburger as she listened to him. She sat the burger back the plate and started to munch on the fries, trying to think of what to say. Once she swallowed what was in her mouth before she start to talk. I know.... Im just use to the big city and Im not use to a place like this.... She said and glanced down at the plate of the food. She looked back up. Its nice to meet you by the way, Colt. I said smiling.

He nodded as he listened, not fond of any words at the moment. He went back to his steak, slowly eating as she spoke again,
It's a pleasure meetin' you too, Ashlee.
He said with a kind smile after he finished chewing up all of his food that was in his mouth. The waitress floated by again, sliding the check on his table. He turned it over and read the total. He put his debit card on the check slip and waited for her to come about once more.
